Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated registered mental health nurses on PICU, Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend. PICU specialises in caring for patients who are experiencing crisis point in their mental health and display evidence of unmanageable presentations for acute admission wards to safely care for.  PICU is an assessment and treatment ward for the Bridgend locality however cares for patients from Swansea Bay Health Board also. Candidates should have experience within the field of adult mental health.

Main duties of the job

This job vacancy is for PICU, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend which is an assessment and treatment ward for patients at crisis point in their mental health. Candidates should have experience within the field of adult mental health. PICU is within Cwm Taf Health Board. 

The post holder should have good communication skills and be a team player. PICU has a dedicated team who work collaboratively and thrive on working together and providing the highest standard of care to patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
